Amed — The Place That Wouldn't Let Me Go

A community diving documentary by The Big Koslowski, shot entirely with UWACAM · July 16, 2026

A year ago, filmmaker The Big Koslowski left Bali convinced he wouldn't be back any time soon — too crowded, too touristy, too much. And yet, a few months later, he found himself back in Amed. The film he brought home, "Amed — The Place That Wouldn't Let Me Go", is a quietly beautiful diving documentary — and every single underwater frame was captured on an iPhone 15 Pro inside a Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max housing, running the UWACAM app.

Instead of chasing giant mantas and mola molas, Amed tells a different story: slow living, macro life, local connections, and the wrecks that make this stretch of the Bali coast unforgettable — from the USAT Liberty at Tulamben to the Japanese Shipwreck and the Boga Wreck. Filmed over several weeks with Eco Dive Bali, it's independent, self-funded, and exactly the kind of real-world result we built UWACAM for: Capture Ocean Beauty. Effortlessly.

"I said I was done with Bali… and yet here I am again. Some places just refuse to let you go."
