UWACAM 2.6 is now available on the App Store and Google Play — and it's our most creative update yet. This release turns Playback into a compact post-production studio, adds a suite of artistic effects, and brings double exposure both after the dive and live in the viewfinder.
A creative postprocessing suite
Beyond UWACOLOR, you can now shape your captures after the dive. Open a photo or video in Playback, tap Processing Options, and combine:
- Effects — Spotlight, Twist and Sphere bend light and geometry for a striking, artistic look.
- Styles — turn any capture Black & White or Sepia with a single tap.
- Flip & Mirror — flip or mirror your media horizontally, vertically, or both, independently.
You can stack several effects in one processing pass — and add an imprint, a LUT or UWACOLOR in the very same step.
Double exposure — twice over
Photo Double Exposure blends two of your photos into a single composition: pick a base image from your UWACAM captures, then merge it with another for a creative overlay.
Live Double Exposure brings the same idea into the moment. In PRO photo mode it blends the live camera preview with a previously captured photo in real time, so you can see and frame the composition before you press the shutter.
Also new in 2.6
- Imprints & watermarks — overlay custom graphics on your captures with full control over position, size, opacity and rotation. A set of built-in imprints is included.
- Grid playback view — browse your captures in a new grid layout alongside the classic list view.
- Compass NAV arrow (PRO) — an on-screen arrow that helps you keep your bearings underwater.
- Gray Card white balance (Android, PRO) — set white balance from a gray card held in front of the camera.
- Portuguese — UWACAM now speaks Portuguese, for both Portugal and Brazil.
